ATİK: WE SUPPORT THE RESISTANCE AGAINST FASCISM AND ZIONISM!

The armed resistance against the Zionist state of Israel, called “Operation Aksa Flood”, which includes various organisations in Palestine, is justified and extremely legitimate. The state of Israel, which has been cruelly persecuting the Palestinian people for decades, has responded to the armed resistance with massacres again. In successive statements made by the sovereign states, they gave “messages of support to the state of Israel”. With this support, they have also approved the massacres, extrajudicial executions and tortures in the Palestinian territories occupied for years. Therefore, this resistance against the occupied territories and the ongoing oppressive situation is a legitimate attitude of the people against the oppressor nation.

We do not accept the violence and massacres against civilians, such as the bombing of a concert during the resistance. The public debate on the character of the various organisations involved in the Palestinian national resistance will not remove this legitimate position. The diversity that can exist within every national movement and the existence of focusses positioned in different spectrums are known facts. The character of the national resistance foci that stand against fascism, Zionism, oppression, exploitation and occupation is a just resistance against the oppressor nation and we, as ATİK, support these resistances.

Like the Zionist State of Israel, the fascist Turkish state continues to show intolerance towards the gains achieved especially in Rojava. Since 5 October 2023, it has been carrying out attacks against the Autonomous Administration areas of Northern and Eastern Syria, especially targeting health, energy and settlements. It tries to destroy the gains in Rojava by backing up the reactionary-fascist formations in the region.

The class and national struggles against the imperialist-backed, Zionist, fascist, reactionary mullah and dictator regimes in the Middle East are legitimate and must be supported. We call on all revolutionary, democratic and patriotic forces to support the resistance in Kurdistan and Palestine! We would like to draw attention once again to the importance of fighting together and growing the common struggle against all reactionary attacks.
